VNC nos permitira manejar de forma grafica una PC de forma remota. Pero…. ¿Que es VNC?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;VNC (acronimo del ingles Virtual Network Computing, Computacion en Red Virtual) es un programa libre basado en una estructura cliente-servidor el cual nos permite tomar el control de forma visual del ordenador servidor remotamente a traves de un ordenador cliente. Tambien llamado software de escritorio remoto. VNC permite que el sistema operativo en cada computadora sea distinto. Es posible compartir la pantalla de una maquina con Windows en una maquina con GNU/Linux y viceversa.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Bien, comencemos:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;De ahora en mas llamare “cliente” a la maquina que usamos para conectarnos y “servidor” a la maquina a la cual nos conectamos.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;En Ubuntu , tanto el servidor como el cliente de VNC viene instalado y se llama VINO. La cosa es que éste firewall viene desactivado por defecto... :(&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lo que haremos para activarlo es tan sencillamente escribir lo siguinte en nuestra terminal....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo ufw enable&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Tanto como si lo queremos desactivar, solo escribimos:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo ufw disable&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Ahora, este firewall trabaja bajo las ordenes que nosotros le demos, es decir, nosotros le podemos crear tanto una regla general como una específica. Un ejemplo seria:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo ufw allow 80&lt;/span&gt;  // Lo que hace es habilitarnos el puerto 80 sea de donde sea&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo ufw deny proto tcp from 10.0.0.0/8 to 192.168.0.1 port 25 &lt;/span&gt; Ahora lo que hemos hecho es //denegar todo el tráfico de una red de clase A al puerto 25 con la dirección 192.168.0.1.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Como es lógico, UFW nos permite también borrar cualquier regla que hallamos creado antes, sea permisiva o restrictiva...Para ello procederemos a efectuar la siguiente orden...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo ufw delete allow 80/tcp&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo ufw delete deny 80/tcp&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;También nos permite permite permitir o denegar servicios concretos. Puede ser instalado en la mayoría de servidores web siempre y cuando éste soporte PHP y el servidor web tenga acceso a un servidor IMAP y a otro SMTP. (ver más en &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/SquirrelMail"&gt;Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;De lo primero que vamos a hacer es instalar 2 programas antes de instalar el SquirrelMail...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;El primero es Postfix. &lt;b&gt;Postfix&lt;/b&gt; es un &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agente_de_Transporte_de_Correo" class="mw-redirect" title="Agente de Transporte de Correo"&gt;Agente de Transporte de Correo&lt;/a&gt; (&lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/MTA" class="mw-redirect" title="MTA"&gt;MTA&lt;/a&gt;) de &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_libre" title="Software libre"&gt;software libre&lt;/a&gt; / &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%B3digo_abierto" title="Código abierto"&gt;código abierto&lt;/a&gt;, un &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Programa_inform%C3%A1tico" class="mw-redirect" title="Programa informático"&gt;programa informático&lt;/a&gt; para el enrutamiento y envío de correo electrónico, creado con la intención de que sea una alternativa más rápida, fácil de administrar y segura al ampliamente utilizado &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sendmail" title="Sendmail"&gt;Sendmail&lt;/a&gt;. (ver más en &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postfix"&gt;Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Para instalarlo en nuestro sistema usamos:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" &gt;sudo aptitude install postfix&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Luego procedemos a instalar es nuestro servidor IMAP Dovecot.  Dovecote es sefvidor IMAP y POP3 de codigo abierto para sistemas Linux/UNIX. Lo que haremos es desde una terminal escribimos:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo aptitude install squirrelmail&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Y listo...!!! ya tenemos nuestro nuestro servidor de correo instalando...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Muy bien, ahora.... ¿Cómo accedemos a él?... Luego vamos a añadir de una vez un usuario debido a que nessus nos pide un usuario propio para poder trabajar con él. En la terminal escribimos &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;sudo nessus-adduser &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;[nombre_usuario]&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;, luego cuando nos dice Login: ponemos el nombre que se puso en nombre_usuario, damos enter, y seguidamente aparece una linea que dice &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Authentication&lt;/span&gt;, damos enter sin escribir nada en esa línea y por último le escribimos el password... type='text'>Un uso distinto para el Nmap</title><content type='html'>Nmap permite guardar los resultados de un scan, en varios tipos de formato de&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt; archivo: Normal, XML, Grepable, All, y en formato "S" (s|&lt;ipt 3="" f0rm="" into="" the="" fil3="" u="" specfy="" 4s="" an="" o="" mejor="" conocido="" como="" formato="" script=""&gt;&lt;/ipt&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Si deseamos hacer un stealth scan del tipo Xmas Tree, también deseamos conocer&lt;br /&gt;que sistema operativo esta corriendo el host de destino, y además deseamos&lt;br /&gt;guardar el resultado de este scan en un archivo llamado "resultado_nmap.txt", ejecutamos:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;$sudo nmap -sX -O 172.26.103.20 -oN resultado_nmap.txt&lt;/span&gt;. Para ello escaneamos en los protocolos TCP y UDP, cabe destacar que esta operación puede tardar un buen tiempo asi que es mejor no tocar la ventana y esperar que la maquina haga todo solita Para empezar les voy a poner algunas de las caracteríscas de este programa (nota: esta información ha sido extraida de la &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nmap"&gt;Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Nmap&lt;/b&gt; es un programa de que sirve para efectuar &lt;a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esc%C3%A1ner_de_puertos" title="Escáner de puertos"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;rastreo a redes TCP y UDP&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;. Se usa para evaluar la seguridad de sistemas informáticos, así como para descubrir servicios o servidores en una red informática.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Descubrimiento de servidores: Identifica computadoras en una red, por ejemplo listando aquellas que responden ping.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Identifica puertos abiertos en una computadora objetivo&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Determina qué servicios está ejecutando la misma&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Determinar qué sistema operativo y versión utiliza dicha computadora, (esta técnica es también conocida como fingerprinter)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Obtiene algunas características del hardware de red de la máquina objeto de la prueba&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a name="Aplicaciones_t.C3.ADpicas" id="Aplicaciones_t.C3.ADpicas"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  Lo primero que vamos a hacer es instalar nmap en nuestro sistema Linux (en mi caso se va a hacer la practica desde Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04  xD)...Para ello escribimos en consola:&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;sudo apt-get install nmap&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Seguidamente vamos a hacer una serie de pruebas con el nmap a uno de los equipos de nuestra red. Por ejemplo 172.26.103.20...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.
